11 July

Today we talked about several things related to technology in the classroom. First, teachers can't put students' pictures on the Internet without their and their parent's permission, which I haven't done that way so far. Peraonally, I need to be careful when I update studnets' pictures.
We also talked about visual classess or online class. Some states are having visual classess because students spend a lot of time on the road to come to school. I'm also taking TOFEL online class from Korea. I think online classess are good for students who lived far away and can't have proper and good quality education.
We also spent some time to figure out how to use Powerpoint. When I was a college student, I used it a lot. However, since I graduated a long time ago, I forgot most of the function. I guess I need some time to bring my memory.
Now, it's time for another challenge, creating webquest.

Cindy,
I know exactly what you mean about not having used PowerPoint in a long time. Fortunately, it is like riding a bike as it soon comes back to you! I really loved your WebQuest today, as I'm sure your students will have a great time and learn alot with your Culture Fair. Great job!
